The Hangzhou lab lifted its target at least twice during talks, from about $7.5B to $12B

CATL and Tencent were among the largest backers, with CATL reportedly committing about $1.5B, double its first-round check.

Chinese media put the pre-money valuation at about $74.8B, unchanged as the round doubled, so new money bought bigger stakes at the same price.

Together with a first round above $7.5B that closed in June, DeepSeek has collected about $22.5B in roughly 6 months.
